How to control your privacy on BookAuth — reading list visibility, review display, profile settings, and data management.

BookAuth gives you control over what information is visible to others and how your data is used.
Privacy Settings
Navigate to Settings > Privacy to configure:

What Others Can See

Data Management
Export Your Data
Download all your BookAuth data:
- Navigate to Settings > Data
- Click "Export My Data"
- Receive a JSON/CSV file with your profile, reviews, reading list, and purchase history
Delete Your Account
- Navigate to Settings > Account
- Click "Delete Account"
- Enter your password to confirm
- All data is permanently deleted within 30 days

Q: Can I use a pseudonym on BookAuth?
A: Yes. Your display name can be anything — it doesn't need to be your legal name.
Q: Can I hide specific reviews?
A: Individual review hiding is not available — reviews are either all visible or you can delete specific reviews.
