How to request a refund for a book purchase on BookAuth — eligibility, process, and what happens after.

If you're unsatisfied with a purchase or bought a book by mistake, BookAuth offers a straightforward 14-day refund policy.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Navigate to Settings > Purchase History
  2. Find the purchase you want to refund
  3. Click "Request Refund"
  4. Select a reason (optional but helpful)
  5. Click "Submit"

What Happens Next

  • Your refund is processed within 3-5 business days
  • The refund appears on your credit card statement from Stripe
  • Your access to the book is revoked
  • You receive an email confirmation

After a Refund

  • The book is removed from your library
  • If you left a review, it remains published (reviews are independent of purchase status)
  • You can repurchase the book later if you change your mind
