Your Reviewer Reputation & Trust Score
How your reviewer reputation score works, what tiers mean, and how to build a strong reputation for ARC campaign access.
Your reviewer reputation is a trust score that reflects your reliability as an ARC reviewer. A higher reputation means more ARC acceptances and access to exclusive campaigns.

Reputation Score (0-5)
Your score is calculated from three weighted factors:
| Factor | Weight | What It Measures |
|---|---|---|
| Completion Rate | 60% | % of accepted ARCs where you submitted a review |
| Review Quality | 20% | Average author rating of your reviews (helpfulness) |
| Timeliness | 20% | % of reviews submitted before deadline |
Reviewer Tiers
| Tier | Score | Badge | Perks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 0-2.5 | 🥉 | Basic access — may be filtered out by selective authors |
| Silver | 2.5-3.5 | 🥈 | Standard access — accepted by most campaigns |
| Gold | 3.5-4.5 | 🥇 | Priority — authors prefer Gold tier reviewers |
| Platinum | 4.5-5.0 | 💎 | Top tier — first accepted, exclusive campaigns |
Improving Your Reputation
- Always submit reviews for accepted ARCs (even short ones count)
- Submit before the deadline (don't wait until the last day)
- Write thoughtful reviews — specific, helpful observations
- Don't over-apply — only accept ARCs you can actually finish in time

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does my regular review activity (non-ARC) affect reputation?
A: Reputation is based solely on ARC participation. Regular reviews don't factor in.
Q: Can my reputation decrease?
A: Yes. Missing ARC deadlines or not submitting reviews lowers your completion rate and score.
Q: How many ARCs do I need to build reputation?
A: After 5+ completed ARCs, your reputation stabilizes. Fewer than 5 results in a provisional score.
