About This Book
After 50 years frozen in time, Edward awakens to a fragmented reality in pursuit of silence, love, and infinity. Caught in the web of the tether cycles of millions of years, Edward discovers he is the main character in the human plight to avoid extinction. As entities speak and doors vanish, he struggles through gauntlets of tethers, Cyborg Central, and the League of Science Fiction Intelligencia to go extinct or live forever.
MATRICA is a surreal, cinematic science-fiction novel about a man pulled out of the past and forced to confront the future’s strangest offer: survive by becoming data, or remain human in a world that has already moved on.
Darkly comic, philosophical, grotesque, and emotionally strange, the novel blends cyberpunk bureaucracy, post-human evolution, industrial apocalypse, impossible romance, and the stubborn hunger of one man who refuses to let reality explain him away.
