How to switch
We will not promise a migration we cannot perform. Dual-run the old tools, import a CSV, and know that custom domain is Business.
How do I move my mailing list?
Export a CSV from Mailchimp, Kit, MailerLite, or another ESP, then import that CSV in BookAuth. We do not offer one-click Mailchimp sync. Tags you map in the CSV import wizard come with the file — we cannot pull your Mailchimp account automatically.
What happens to my BookFunnel download links?
Dual-run BookFunnel for about 30 days. Put new magnets and ARCs on BookAuth, and leave old BookFunnel URLs live until those emails age out. We cannot redirect BookFunnel URLs for you, and we cannot migrate their reader app or group-promo network.
Can I use my own domain on Pro?
Custom domain is Business ($29/month), not Pro. Free and Pro sites go live at yourname.bookauth.com. Keep your current domain on Squarespace (or similar) parked while you try the subdomain, then move DNS if you upgrade to Business.
Will you migrate my Squarespace or WordPress site?
No. Rebuild your author site on BookAuth. The Free and Pro site is a subdomain. Blog posts and promotional landing pages are Business. We do not copy pages, design, or CMS content from another host.
Is Pro cheaper than BookFunnel?
Pro $12/month is meant to replace a mid-list stack — Squarespace + Mailchimp + BookFunnel Mid-list, typically about $49/month — not BookFunnel First-Time Author at $30/year. If you only pay FTA and use a free ESP, start on BookAuth Free ($0): subdomain site, 2 ARCs, and 500 subscribers.
