- Where used, measure the effectiveness of our marketing and show relevant advertising.

4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties when you use the Service, including:
- Analytics & advertising: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Meta (Facebook) — which set their own cookies and may transfer data outside the EEA/UK.
- Payments: Stripe — for fraud prevention and payment functionality.
- Authentication: our identity provider (WorkOS).
- Author sites & embedded content: videos, social embeds, and author-site analytics may set cookies controlled by those third parties.
Third parties control their own cookies; review their policies for details. We do not control and are not responsible for their practices.
5. Your Choices & Managing Cookies
- Browser controls: most browsers let you accept, block, or delete cookies in the settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Service from working.
- Consent (EU/UK): where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time via our consent tool or your browser settings.
- Opt-out tools: for interest-based advertising, use the Digital Advertising Alliance ( optout.aboutads.info), Network Advertising Alliance, or your device's "limit ad tracking" setting.
- Google Analytics opt-out: Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- "Do Not Track" / Global Privacy Control (GPC): we treat GPC signals as an opt-out of "sale or sharing" of personal information where applicable. Because we do not sell personal information, the main effect is to limit advertising-related cookies where available.
