When authors find your listing and want to work with you, they'll send a quote request. This guide covers managing those requests efficiently.

Receiving Quote Requests

You'll receive a notification when an author requests a quote. Each request includes:

  • Author name and profile
  • Project description
  • Manuscript details (genre, word count)
  • Desired timeline
  • Budget (if provided)

Responding to Requests

Navigate to Services > Requests and click on any pending request:

  1. Review the brief carefully
  2. Send your quote with:
    • Your price for the project
    • Your timeline (start and delivery dates)
    • What's included in the price
    • Any questions for the author
  3. Or decline if the project isn't a fit (with an optional reason)
